Owing to my mother's cautious stance on contemporary pop culture, my sister and I found ourselves immersed in the cinematic treasures of the first half of the 20th Century. We thought films such as ‘Gentleman Prefer Blondes’ and ‘How To Marry A Millionaire’ were hot off the cinema. I used to eagerly bring the VHS tapes to friends' gatherings, only to be met with puzzled and unenthused expressions.

These films left an indelible mark on me. The extraordinary sets were something to behold, and even now, I look back scene by scene to study the choices made. Her knack for the lustrous has always been apparent, a quality that shines brightly through her venture, Lines Of London. Unsurprisingly, she's become my go-to source for uncovering the finest vintage jewellery haunts (in the US & Europe). So below are her terrific choices for jewellery.
