Excellent Advice For Those Starting Out On Their Kitchen Journey.
We asked some seriously stellar people what they have learned from creating their very own superb culinary caves.
So, if you saw at the end of our last feature about curtains, I did a little shout to ask if anyone had something in particular they'd like to tackle. One hand went up, and the question was about Kitchens; Natalie Tilbury asked, 'If you're ever in the mood to write about a creative approach to kitchens, I'd be grateful'. Sadly, I am never in the mood. I also only have a little experience with the old kitchen refurb. We tried to rip as little out as possible when we moved into our new house. We wanted to be as environmentally conscious as possible (it just so happened it was also the cheapest option). So we painted the cupboards and changed the handles. So, no Einstien revelations there. Not wanting to let Natalie down, we enlisted a few Tat acquaintances whose kitchens (& work) we hugely admire to share any nifty ideas that helped them in their kitchen journey. Without bragging, I will say they came up with the goods and then some. Enjoy!
