When I started this Substack I asked our subscribers what they wanted to get out of the subscription. We want Tat Substack to be as helpful as possible. First, we tackled lighting, and now this -   

'How to work with an interior designer - is it possible to get help for something smaller (e.g. sourcing furniture/paint colours for a single room), or does it just depend on the person/firm? Pros/cons of working with someone via The Expert vs. directly?' 

Obviously, there is a lot to unpack here. Having never worked with an interior designer, I had to look outside my minute realm of knowledge. Thankfully, I have many comrades who are interior designers, so I called on them to give me a good idea of what to expect when working with someone on a time-limited basis.
