Dear Reader,
I have been writing on Substack for a little over a year now. It has been a fantastic way to connect more deeply with those of you who have been following Tat for some time, and I believe we've welcomed some new readers along the way. My big challenge has been managing both the Tat blog and Substack. I often feel that both platforms suffer as I struggle to make Substack worth the subscription while also wanting to keep both interesting and not necessarily always useful.
So, I have decided to bring everything back to the Tat website. I love having everything under one roof. In line with this change, I’m reducing the annual membership price to £25 (inc vat), which breaks down to just over £2 a month—less than the cost of the worst cup of coffee (consider this both a critique of coffee shop prices and a spotlight on what a great deal this is!).
I’ve thought about this a lot and feel somewhat guilty about monetizing the blog, but I can’t keep investing so much work without some form of quid pro quo. That being said, there will still be a few things that remain outside the pay bracket, similar to what we do here.
