In the last few years, the hardware game has just busted out into the mainstream. At House & Garden, I did a shoot on wall brackets. I muddled together a few fine brackets, but it was tricky. We didn’t have the wealth of companies tha there are now. Those fresh and exciting people are producing such extraordinarily thoughtful pieces. Pieces that will help elevate your home no end.

As I have mentioned before, much of our joinery and the structure of our house was inherited, it was still in good nick and we thought money would be better spent getting the structure of the home back to its best. Having now spent two years with it, I feel that on a couple of the doors and windows we could do with a little face lift. So with the help of the companies below I am going to be buying some hardware to make the place feel a more me (I mean my husband and I).

One company that has always had a huge crush on is Emery & Cie, they offer such whimsical well made pieces.
